In this case, online human resources software offers options to reduce the burden of routine operations within the department of HR, such as staff salaries or vacation and leave management. Online human resources software or E-HRM ( Electronic Human Resource Management ) is one that is used online, usually through a cloud or external hosting. The introduction of smartphones and tablets in the daily lives of millions of people is also reflected in the field of online human resources software. Many applications are seeing how their move to the cloud is accompanied by mobile applications, with which to take advantage of the possibility of access from anywhere. In this sense, many of the requests that previously could only be made within the company itself, such as holidays, are now accessible from the mobile phone.
In addition, some of these applications also include other more specific functions, such as an event or meeting planner, monitoring of activities and attendance, notification of changes in work hours, or employee birthdays. However, many of these functions may be excessive for the use that will be given to the system in the company, so a study of the real needs of the company must be carried out before deciding to implement any online human resources software.
